The Coastal Retreat is a relaxing accommodation situated close to Himatangi Beach, nestled amongst the remnant dunes naturally vegetated with natives and nearby forests. Our yurts, we have three of them, are fully equipped, sleep up to four people and perfect for a group of friends, families or a romantic getaway. 

We are open to you bringing your four legged little friends, aka your dogs!  Just touch base first to double check on the conditions.  We expect that they will not roam onto the surrounding properties and farms, as we do know they bait for pest, we would hate for your loved ones to eat any bait. As like everywhere we expect that you look after their little deposits and that you bring their own bed.  Please dont allow them to sleep on the beds or couches.  Also please do not leave them alone at the yurts.... we dont want them to find them tasty.
